One of the key to find happiness in life is realising that "nobody can make you happy until your happy with yourself first.
Steps To find happiness in your life
1) have a happiness journal
When you feel happy take a note and write the happiness. By writing in a note, it will amplify your happiness. When you are in sad, then take the note and see in which you have written happiness happened in life . This will help you to get out of sad and be happy again.
2) find your purpose of being or find your ikigai.
If you want to live for long and healthy then you must keep yourself happy. To keep yourself happy you must find the purpose of life, for example, in mathematics if you know the question and answer it is easy to find the steps to reach your answer. If you want to go to particular place then you must know the starting point and ending point then only you can choose your way to reach your destination. In the same way for the question where I can find happiness in my life, you need to to find the answer from purpose of your life, if you find your ikigai then you will find the answer for your question of happiness.
3) to find your ikigai there are four conditions
*Do what you love
*Do what the world needs
*Do what you can be paid for
*Do what you are good at
By doing what you love that the world needs, by that you are paid then you won't consider worker stress.so, you will be happy. If you take actors, they are doing the acting by love, and that acting is liked by us(world), and by which they are paid for that, they are doing what is good for them and in which they are good. So they are working joyfully.

By focusing on what you can control you will be happy for long lasting. Don't focus on what you cannot control .Your heart, your emotions, how do you think, what you hear, your reactions about the surroundings these things are controlled by you. If you focus and what you cannot control it will bring you more stress, & depressed.
Avoid toxic people
Avoid from toxic people to be happy. To find toxic people is so hard. Even though you can find them buy these symptoms. If you feel being with someone makes you depressed, anger, or people who give you advice to control you., Then avoid These people.
Practice self acceptance:
Don't find happiness in others to be happy you must first be happy with yourself, happiness comes within you.
